An alleged product listing of the upcoming Vivo Y21 5G has appeared on a private Bhutanese cellular operator’s website called TashiCell, revealing some key details about this smartphone, including its specs and pricing. Along with this, a marketing poster of the smartphone also reveals some additional details.
Here is more to it.
Vivo Y21 5G – Specs, Design and Pricing Details Revealed for Bhutan
Via the product listing, it is revealed that the Vivo Y21 5G will come with a 6.74″ 120Hz HD+ (720×1600) LCD Eye Protection Display. Under the hood, it is listed to come with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC and will run on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 OS. However, the GPU listed on the site is PowerVR GE8320, which is quite odd and could be a typo. The Dimensity 6300 comes with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, while the PowerVR GE8320 GPU was previously used with Helio A series and P series chips, which are meant for budget segment devices.

A dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and a 0.08MP Super Macro secondary sensor, paired with a 5MP selfie shooter, is listed as the camera specification for this smartphone.
Speaking more about the specs, it confirms a 6500mAh battery with 45W fast wired charging support. Connectivity-wise, it will offer GSM / HSPA / LTE / 5G cellular connectivity and will come with a triple card slot (2 Nano SIMs + 1 MicroSD card). Other key features mentioned on the site are USB Type-C 2.0, OTG, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and Face Access 2.0.
The colour options mentioned are Voyage Black and Sunrise Gold, which are also confirmed by the post on its social media handle, along with IP65-rated protection. The pricing mentioned on the product page and on the banner shows Nu. 16,190.00/- (~₹16,192.77) for the single memory option of 6GB/128GB.

Previously, we had spotted this smartphone in the source code of the iQOO 15R’s product page, which revealed a 120Hz display with 1200 nits of peak brightness, IP65-rated protection, and a 6500mAh battery, similar to the one spotted above. Also, from past certifications such as Bluetooth SIG, two model numbers were revealed. Out of these, “V2553″ was listed on EPREL with a 6355mAh battery, while “V2554” was listed with a smaller 5090mAh battery. It seems that the latter is listed in the above product listing. The same battery variant is expected to come to the Indian market, as the same “V2553” model number was spotted on BIS.
Other than India, the same model number “V2553” has also appeared on Malaysian SIRIM and the UAE’s TDRA. Currently, Vivo hasn’t made any official announcement yet for any of the regions about this smartphone, but seeing it on all these certficiations it may happen soon.
