Vivo Y21 5G spotted on Indian BIS, Bluetooth SIG, SIRIM, and TUV certifications; Vivo Y05 4G also spotted on BIS and SIRIM

Two new smartphones, the Vivo 21 5G and Vivo Y05 4G, have now appeared on certification platforms. The Y05 4G has been listed on India’s BIS and Malaysia’s SIRIM today, while the Y21 5G has also been spotted on BIS, Bluetooth SIG, SIRIM, and TÜV certifications, hinting at an imminent launch.

Vivo Y21 5G – BIS, SIRIM, and Bluetooth SIG
The Indian BIS certification lists the model number “V2553” and reveals that it was approved on 04 February 2026. As usual, the BIS listing does not mention the moniker, but on the SIRIM and Bluetooth SIG certifications, the device is listed as the Vivo Y21 5G.
Additionally, the same model number has appeared on the TUV certification, which reveals support for 45W fast wired charging.
As both smartphones have now appeared on multiple certifications, a launch is expected to take place soon.
Vivo Y05 4G – BIS Certification
On the BIS certification, the model number “V2556” is listed, showing that it was approved on 30 January 2026. The device has also been spotted today on the SIRIM certification, where the moniker is listed as Vivo Y05.
Previously, both the UAE’s TDRA and Bluetooth SIG certifications revealed the moniker Vivo Y05 4G for the same model number “V2556” also. Additionally, the CQC certification revealed 15W fast wired charging support, which is similar to its predecessor, the Y04 4G.
Following this, the smartphone was also spotted on the NCC certification, which revealed the design along with purple and creamy white/off-white colour options. Furthermore, the NCC certification also revealed the battery model number “BB53”, which has a rated capacity of 6,355mAh and a typical capacity of 6,500mAh.
Talking about the design revealed via the NCC, it shows a dual rear camera setup along with an LED flash and Aura lighting. Between the LED flash and the Aura lighting, the engraving “ADVANCED ASPHERICAL” is also visible.
