Here is more to it.
Vivo Y21 5G – Spotted on EPREL
Two model numbers, “V2553” and “V2554,” have been spotted on the EPREL certification with certification numbers “2571107” and “2571087” and an Energy efficiency rating of “A”. Though the moniker isn’t mentioned here, earlier Bluetooth SIG certification revealed it as Vivo Y21 5G. Model “V2553” shows a battery capacity of 6355 mAh, while “V2554” shows 5090 mAh. The “V2553” model was also spotted on BIS and SIRIM, confirming that the Indian and Malaysian variants will have the bigger 6355 mAh battery. So far, the other model hasn’t appeared on other regulatory authorities, so we can’t yet confirm where the smaller battery variant will be launched. Additionally, 44W fast wired charging support is listed for both models, which the earlier TUV certification also confirmed. Furthermore, the “V2554” model offers a battery endurance cycle of 52 hours and 36 minutes, while “V2553” offers 67 hours and 13 minutes. Both models support 1,600 full charge-discharge cycles and come with USB Type-C.
The listing also mentions an IP65 rating and confirms 5 years of security updates for both models. In the free-fall test, both achieved an “A” rating, with 270 total falls recorded without defect. On the Mohs hardness scale, both scored a 4.
Now that it’s been spotted on EPREL and other certifications, the Vivo Y21 5G is likely to launch soon.
