Vivo Y21 5G Display and Battery Specs Revealed via Google Search Results Page and iQOO 15R’s Product Page Source Code

The upcoming Vivo Y series smartphone, the Vivo Y21 5G, is back in the rumours after being spotted on the Google Search page. The search results themselves revealed the battery size and some display specs, and when the link was opened, it redirected to the iQOO 15R’s product page, where the same information appeared in the meta description.

Here is more to it.

Vivo Y21 5G Specs revealed via Google Search Results Page and iQOO 15R Product Page’s Source Code

Starting with the Google Search results page, it reveals that the upcoming Y21 5G will come with a 6500mAh battery and a 120Hz display with 1200 nits of peak brightness. Further, it also confirms that the device will come with IP65-rated protection against water and dust.

Now this is strange, because when I clicked on the link that appeared on the search results page, it opened up the iQOO 15R 5G’s product page hosted on the iQOO India website. Further inspecting the source code showed the meta description, which revealed the same information as above.

Previously, the Vivo Y21 5G was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification with two model numbers, “V2553” and “V2554”. Further, the same model numbers also appeared on the EPREL certification. Through EPREL, it was revealed that the “V2553” will offer a 6355mAh battery and the “V2554” will offer a 5090mAh battery, along with 44W fast wired charging support and IP65-rated water and dust protection. Out of the two, “V2553” was spotted on the Indian BIS, SIRIM, and the UAE’s TDRA, which revealed that in these regions the Y21 5G will launch with a 6355mAh battery. The 6500mAh battery size mentioned above appears to align with these certification details.

All of this now points to Vivo possibly launching this smartphone in the Indian market soon, but all we are now waiting for is an official announcement from Vivo.
