Vivo X300 Ultra Global Variant’s Early Geekbench Listing Shows Low Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Scores

The Vivo X300 Ultra global variant has appeared in an early Geekbench listing, revealing Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and unusually low benchmark scores.

Here is more to it.

Vivo X300 Ultra Global Variant – Geekbench 6

A new model number, “V2562”, with Vivo branding has surfaced on the Geekbench 6 database. While the listing only shows the model number, it has already appeared on the Indonesian SDPPI certification, which revealed that this model number belongs to the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra.

Moving on, as per the benchmark listing, the X300 Ultra prototype managed to get a single-core score of 1618 and a multi-core score of 6015. The listing also confirms that the device prototype at the time of testing had 2 cores running at 4.61GHz and the remaining 6 cores running at 3.63GHz. From the source code, it was also revealed to feature the Adreno 840 GPU, confirming that the global unit will also be coming with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. However, the scores themselves don’t seem to make much sense and could be from an early listing, which even the tipster who shared the listing mentioned in his post on X.

Adding more to this, the phone is also shown running on Android 16 OS (PD2547BF_EX_A_16.0.4.0.W20), which will likely have OriginOS 6 on top, along with a 16GB RAM variant.

Other than this, the device was already showcased at MWC 2026 with a 400mm Vivo Zeiss teleconverter professional photography kit that included the Vivo Zeiss Extender Gen 2 Ultra and a professional photography handle with numerous control functions. It was also revealed that the smartphone will come with “Pro Video Mode Pro”, which will include a professional photography equipment control interface. For the telephoto converter, it was revealed that it enables professional-grade 4K 10-bit log video in the Rec. 709 colour space across all focal lengths.

Regarding its launch, the phone is said to launch soon in China alongside the Vivo X300S. For its global launch, as per previous reports, both the global and the Indian markets can expect this smartphone in Q2 2026.
