Vivo X300 Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench with MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC
The upcoming Vivo X300 has now been spotted on the Geekbench database, confirming some of its core specifications. Interestingly, this time it is the global variant of the device that has surfaced online.
Here is more to it.
Vivo X300 Global Variant Spotted on Geekbench
It has been listed on the Geekbench database with the model number “V2515”. The listing shows the prototype managed to achieve a single-core score of 3177 and a multi-core score of 9701.
The CPU has a total of 8 cores, with the primary core running at 4.21GHz, 3 cores at 3.5GHz, and the remaining 4 cores at 2.7GHz. From the source code, it is revealed to have a Mali-G1-Ultra MC12 GPU. All these points refer to the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC, which is going to be launched on September 22nd in China.
Other details show the prototype was running on Android 16 with the version number PD2509DF_EX_A_16.0.12.1.W20, and 16GB RAM.
The specs do look promising, but if we compare this performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, then it’s almost similar. Even its predecessor, the “Vivo X200,” which came with the Dimensity 9400 SoC, scored similarly on the Geekbench database. And as per tipster Abhishek Yadav, the prototype was running at full frequency, meaning the CPUs weren’t clocked. Even the Chinese variant of the Vivo X300 with Dimensity 9500 scored 2352 on single-core, while the multi-core score was 7129.
To me, this Geekbench listing doesn’t make any sense, but since it is just a prototype, the device may not have been optimised properly.
Other updates include it being spotted on the Indonesian SDPPI certification, along with the EEC certification.
