Vivo V70 5G (V2538) spotted on FCC certification, revealing 12GB + 512GB variant, Android 16, and more

Vivo’s upcoming V70 5G smartpone has already been spotted on ultiple cerifications including, BIS, Geekbench and IMEI database. And now it has been spotted on the FCC certficiation which also reveals additional info about this upcoming smartphone.

VIvo V70 5G spotted on FCC

The FCC cerfiication lists the model number “V2538” with the FCC ID as “2AUCY-V2538”, though it doesnt mention the moniker but earlier IMEI listing ha cnfirmed that this model number belong to the upoming Vivo V70. Furthermore, there are seevral IMEI numbers shared in the FCC document as well, and upon checking the same on the IMEI databse also reveals the moniker as Vivo V70.

As per the FCC listing the Vivo V70 5G  was tested with Android 16, with the firmware version PD2529KF_EX_A_16.0.4.2.W30. This same version was previously spotted when it appeared on the Geekbench database.

As per FCC certification documents, the device supports GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR connectivity, with the listings confirming compatibility with 5G NR bands n2, n5, n7, n25, n26, n38, n41, n77, and n78. The filings also reveal support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 ax) across the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, along with Bluetooth in the 2.4GHz range, NFC at 13.56MHz, and GNSS for satellite positioning. Additionally, one of the memory configurations has been revealed, pointing to a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.

Previously, the Geekbench listing revealed that the Vivo V70 5G could be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, and also pointed to an 8GB RAM option. With the FCC data now revealing a 12GB variant, two RAM variants can be expected from the Vivo V70 5G.

As for availability, the Vivo V70 5G is tipped to launch in India in February 2026.
