Vivo V60 Will Feature the Funtouch OS 15 Custom Skin, and Not the ‘Funtouch OS 16’ as Suggested Earlier
The Chinese consumer electronics maker – Vivo has already announced its V60 India launch for next week, whereas its global launch will be taking place soon in collaboration with the Kuala Lumpur Fashion Week 2025. Unlike what was reported earlier, this device is now revealed to come with the Funtouch OS 15 custom skin itself.

Upcoming Vivo V60 to Come With Funtouch OS 15 Out of the Box?
Following the report (via @heyitsyogesh) which claimed that there will be no merging between Funtouch OS and Origin OS, even though a few Origin OS features might seep into Funtouch OS in the future with a possible UI revamp, another report (@yabhishekhd) suggested that the Vivo V60 smartphone will be launched alongside the Android 16 based Origin OS in India.
The same tipster who had shared the latter report has now posted on X again clarifying that there will be no ‘Funtouch OS 16’ and the upcoming Vivo V60 smartphone will come equipped with the Funtouch OS 15 customer skin based on the Android 15 operating system out of the box (~ the same has already been confirmed with its landing pages listed in the Indian and global markets).
Speaking more about Vivo’s V60 device, it will be launched next week in the Indian market on the 12th of August 2025, and key specs such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, equal-depth quad-curved display, 50MP (Sony IMX766, OIS, main) + 50MP (Sony IMX882, OIS, telephoto, 10x zoom) + 8MP (ultra-wide) triple rear camera system, 50MP selfie camera, 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, and 90W FlashCharge have already been revealed for the upcoming device.
Moreover, for Indian customers, it will be introduced as a Flipkart Unique product with three color choices of Auspicious Gold, Mist Gray, and Moonlit Blue, whereas in the global market it will be offered in Berry Purple (~ exclusive), Desert Gold, Mist Gray, Ocean Blue, and Summer Blue colors.
