Xiaomi 17 Ultra – Leaked Spy Shots
The leaked spy shots of the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone reveal the actual device concealed within a protective case, and unlike the previous generations, this time the brand is suggested to ditch the circular rear camera module design for a rectangular camera module like the other newly-released Xiaomi 17 series models. Speaking more, three camera sensors can be spotted at the rear, along with cutouts for the LED flash and other secondary sensors. One of the cameras is also understood to be a periscope telephoto lens. A Black color choice may also be offered for this device as per the leaked spy shots.
As expected, the launch of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra smartphone may be taking place this month in December 2025 itself, and the leaked spy shots again point to it. In terms of its specs, the device is believed to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and pack a battery ranging between 6000mAh and 7000mAh. On the camera side, a 50MP main camera (OmniVision OV50X, 1-inch), 200MP periscope telephoto camera (ISOCELL HP5), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera can be expected as well (there may not be a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor as earlier revealed*).
In related news, the 3C listing of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra standard and dual satellite communication variants was also spotted early last month in November 2025, and the upcoming smartphone was revealed to support a faster 100W wired fast charging feature.
