Upcoming Vivo Y05 Live Images, Battery Specs and Colour Options Revealed via NCC Certification

Vivo’s upcoming entry-level smartphone, the Vivo Y05, has been spotted on the NCC certification platform. The listing confirms the device’s design and reveals its colour options, along with other details.
Here is more to it.
Vivo Y05 Spotted on NCC certification
The model number V2556 appears on the NCC database. While the certification does not directly mention the device name, the same model number has previously appeared on multiple platforms, including the UAE’s TDRA, Bluetooth SIG, and CQC. Among these, the TDRA and Bluetooth SIG listings confirm that V2556 belongs to the Vivo Y05, which is expected to arrive as the successor to the Vivo Y04 that launched globally in February last year.
The earlier TUV certification mentioned support for 15W fast charging, and the NCC listing supports this by listing the power adapter model V1530L0B0-US, which corresponds to a 15W fast wired charger and is the same adapter bundled with the Vivo Y04. The NCC documentation also includes battery information, listing the battery model BB53 with a rated capacity of 6,355mAh and a typical capacity of 6,500mAh, compared to the 5,500mAh battery found in the Vivo Y04. In addition, the certification mentions the Vivo BK-C-50 accessory, which refers to an original Vivo USB Type-A to Type-C data and fast charging cable, typically measuring between 1 and 1.2 metres and supporting standard USB 2.0 data transfer.
The NCC listing also shows the design and colour options of the device. According to the certification, the two colour options are purple and creamy white/off-white. The design visible in the listing includes a dual rear camera setup with two large circular camera modules placed vertically in the top-left corner. Each ring appears slightly raised. A small LED flash is positioned to the right of the top camera lens, and next to the second camera lens, there appears to be Vivo’s Aura light. Between the LED flash and the Aura light, the engraving “ADVANCED ASPHERICAL” is visible. At the bottom of the smartphone, the speaker grille can be seen along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The right edge shows the volume rocker and power button, while the left side shows the SIM card slot. The front view appears to have a protective tempered glass applied, making it unclear whether the display uses a punch-hole or a waterdrop notch.
As of now, Vivo has not shared any details about the launch of this smartphone.
