Over the past few days and weeks, we have already come across multiple updates concerning Samsung’s next Galaxy S26 series. Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge – Tipped Rated Battery Capacity
This update has been shared via the tipster @UniverseIce on X and as noted by him, the Galaxy S26 Edge smartphone from Samsung is revealed to pack a battery (EB-BS947ABY, EB-BS947ABE) with a rated value of 4078 mAh. Looking into previous updates, while there were confusions with the typical battery capacity that could be offered in the upcoming device, the same tipster had later suggested that it could be offering a 4200 mAh typical battery capacity. However, in his newly-shared post, he again poses the doubt whether it will be a 4200 mAh or a 4300 mAh battery that will be marketed for Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Edge device.
The previous Galaxy S25 Edge smartphone had a battery that offered a rated value of 3786 mAh and typical value of 3900 mAh (~ difference of 114 mAh). Considering this, as per industrial practice, the Galaxy S26 Edge is most likely going to be marketed as a 4200 mAh battery phone itself (with a 122 mAh difference between rated and typical values).

Speaking more, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge’s Geekbench listing was also spotted last month, and performance specs such as the 4.74 GHz-clocked Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy, Adreno 840 GPU, Android 16 OS, and 12GB RAM were pointed out. A 5.5 mm thickness and 6.66″ display were also revealed for the device.
Stay tuned for more updates.
