Upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ Smartphone to Use the Same Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 Chip, Reveals Xiaomi Codebase

The Redmi Note 15 Pro series is scheduled to debut this month in the Chinese market and ahead of it, the next Redmi Note 15 Pro+ smartphone model has now been revealed to use the same chipset which powered its predecessor.

Xiaomi’s previous Redmi Note 14 Pro+ debuted with the August 2024-released Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and it arrived as the very first smartphone device to feature it. This time too, the brand is planning to unveil its Redmi Note 15 Pro+ model with this same old Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip as per what has been revealed via the Xiaomi codebase. Also to add, its codename is mentioned as ‘flourite’.

Speaking more, as mentioned the official debut of the Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be taking place soon in China, and it is said to happen by the end of this month in August 2025. Two smartphone models are being expected at the time of the launch: Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+. The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ has already received the 3C and Radio certifications from China, and it is revealed to support a 90W wired fast charging feature and offer a Beidou Satellite Edition model (for messaging).

Coming to the officially teased updates, the Redmi Note 15 Pro series is pointed out to come with both reliable quality and flagship technologies, and a recent update had confirmed that the soon-to-be-launched smartphones will be fall resistant. Additionally, a glimpse of the design was also revealed via the recently-shared teaser poster, suggesting that a Red color variant will be offered and the series may be sporting a squircle-shaped camera module.
