Upcoming Oppo Watch X3 appears on certification with Wear OS 6 based on Android 16

Over the past few weeks, or I would say months, we have been spotting the upcoming Oppo Watch X3 on multiple certifications. And now, the smartwatch has appeared on the EMVCO certification, which reveals more details about the device.

Here is more to it.

Oppo Watch X3 spotted on EMVCO

On the EMVCO listing, the device appears with the model number “OWWE261”, and it shows that the smartwatch was approved on December 8th, 2025, with the approval number “MTA_LOA_GOMT_06032”. And now coming to the part many of you were waiting for, the certification’s second page, under the heading Mobile Product Operating System Name and Version, reveals that the Oppo Watch X3 will run on Wear OS 6, which is based on Android 16. It also confirms that the smartwatch will come with NFC support and will use the SN220T NFC chip.

Apart from this, it was also spotted on Singapore’s IMDA certification with the same model number, where it was listed with Induction Loop Communication System / WPT / WPC. This confirms support for magnetic charging through a charging cradle with pogo pins. Meanwhile, the Malaysian SIRIM certification suggests that the device will launch in the Malaysian market.

Additionally, the recent Elements certification revealed that the Oppo Watch X3 will support 10W fast wired charging, which is the same as its predecessor, the Oppo Watch X2. The certification also mentions an operating ambient temperature range of 0°C to 35°C. This suggests that the smartwatch is designed to function safely within this range, while usage in higher temperatures could potentially lead to overheating or reduced performance.

Regarding its launch timeline, since the Oppo Watch X2 was launched in February last year, we can expect a similar timeline for the Oppo Watch X3 as well. However, as of now, no official announcement has been made by Oppo.
