Upcoming Exynos 2600 Geekbench Scores Jump from 2155/7788 to 3309/11256 with Higher 3.80GHz Prime Core

Back in July, the Exynos 2600 chipset was spotted on the Geekbench database with 1 core clocked at 3.55GHz, 3 cores at 2.96GHz, and 6 cores at 2.46GHz. Now it has appeared again, showing significant improvements, at least on the Geekbench numbers.

In July, it managed a single-core score of 2155 and a multi-core score of 7788. In the latest listing, not only have the scores improved, but the cores have also been fine-tuned. The prime core is now clocked at 3.80GHz, 3 cores at 3.26GHz, while the remaining 6 remain at 2.46GHz. As for performance, it achieved a single-core score of 3309 and a multi-core score of 11256. The listing also shows Android 16, 12GB RAM, and the Xclipse 960 GPU (from the source code).

Comparing this to the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 scores of the Galaxy S26 Edge, which recorded 3393 single-core and 11515 multi-core with a 4.74GHz overclocked core, the Exynos 2600 comes very close. Even the upcoming Redmagic 11 series smartphone, which was spotted on the Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, scored around 3309 on single-core and 10742 on multi-core.

Samsung has already confirmed that the Exynos 2600 is its first 2nm chipset built on the Samsung Foundry 2nm GAA process. Alongside the Galaxy S26 Edge, the Galaxy S26 Pro and S26 Ultra are also expected to feature it, though some markets will still receive Snapdragon 8 Elite variants. The Galaxy S26 Series is expected to debut in Q1 2026, and this time, as per rumours, only three models will be launched, which are the S26 Edge, S26 Pro, and S26 Ultra, with Samsung reportedly dropping the vanilla variant from the lineup.

The big question remains whether Exynos will avoid the heating issues it is known for. For now, the database numbers look promising, but the true test will come once real-world units are available.
