Tecno Spark 50 5G (KN8) Spotted on TUV and Carlcare India Website, Confirming Battery Capacity and India Memory Options
Tecno launched the Spark 40 Series back in July of last year, and now it seems it is preparing for the Spark 50 Series smartphones. As we have now spotted the Tecno Spark 50 5G on the TUV as well as the Carlcare website, revealing the battery capacity and the memory options it is going to come with.
Here is more to it.
Tecno Spark 50 5G – TUV and Carlcare website
On the TUV certification, the model number is listed as “KN8” with the brand name Tecno, and under the certification number, it shows “JPTUV-183164”, with the certification date listed as 29th January 2026. Now, under the ratings and principal characteristics, it shows 5,990mAh and 6,340mAh batteries, which would mean that both are meant to be market-specific. As under national differences, it mentions country-specific exceptions or special rules that apply in the EU (by country) and in South Africa, which confirms that the batteries listed on TUV are meant to be region-specific.

Speaking more, the Carlcare website shows the model number “KN8” and confirms its moniker as Tecno Spark 50 5G. Furthermore, it also mentions 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB as memory options. And since these are listed on the Carlcare website in India, these memory options are expected to be for the Indian market.

Previously, another model number, “KN4n”, was also spotted on the TUV certification, with EEC certification revealing its moniker as Tecno Spark 50. Though neither of the listings confirms whether it is the 4G or 5G variant, now that the model number “KN8” is revealed for the 5G variant, this “KN4n” is likely for the 4G variant itself.
More details are expected to come soon, as it has now started appearing on multiple certifications.
