Tecno Spark 40 5G Receives the TUV Rheinland Certification, Revealing its 5850 mAh Rated Battery

Tecno has already unveiled three 4G smartphone models under its Spark 40 series and now, the Spark 40 5G device following its listing on the Carlcare website has made it to the TUV Rheinland certification platform. Via the certification platform, a few of its key details have been revealed as well.

Tecno Spark 40 5G – TUV Rheinland Certification

Tecno’s Spark 40 5G smartphone that bears the model number of ‘KM8n’ has received the TUV Rheinland certification and it has been certified with the certificate number of ‘JPTUV-176435’. This upcoming device is listed on the certification database as a ‘Mobile Phone’ and is pointed out to pack a 5850 mAh rechargeable Li-ion polymer battery (likely rated value). Class III protection featuring a protective design and low voltage operation, along with 5.0VDC/7.5VDC/3.91VDC input are its other revealed specs. Additionally, by listing the country codes of ‘EU’ and ‘SA’, the launch of the Tecno Spark 40 5G in the European and Saudi Arabian markets has also been suggested.

As mentioned, Tecno has introduced the Spark 40 (4G), Spark 40 Pro (4G), and the Spark 40 Pro+ (4G) models in the global market, and the upcoming Spark 40 5G will be arriving as the fourth smartphone model of the series. In addition to the Spark 40 5G, Tecno is also soon planning to unveil the Spark Slim (KM7k) and the Pova Slim 5G (KM9) models too. Furthermore, a new Orange color variant for the May 2025-released Tecno Pova Curve 5G has also been teased in India.
