Tecno Pova 8 – Bluetooth SIG and Geekbench Listings
On the Bluetooth SIG database, the upcoming smartphone carrying the model number “LK6” has been listed with the moniker ‘Tecno Pova 8’. Apart from confirming its moniker and model number, no additional specifications have been revealed via this certification listing.
However, the same model number has also appeared on the Geekbench database, revealing a few of its key performance-related specifications. Looking into the Geekbench listing, the device is mentioned with the ‘Tecno’ branding, and it is revealed to feature an octa-core processor with four cores clocked at 2.40GHz and the remaining four cores at 2.00GHz.
Speaking more, the listing also points out that the device runs on the Android 16 operating system and is paired with a 6GB RAM option. From the source code, it has also been revealed to feature the ARM Mali-G610 MC2 GPU. Combining these details, it suggests that the smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset. In terms of performance, the device has achieved a single-core score of 995 points and a multi-core score of 2825 points.
Also to add, the predecessor – Tecno Pova 7 5G – was equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. Based on this, the presence of a comparatively lower-end chipset on its successor may seem unlikely. However, as of now, the Geekbench listing points towards this configuration.
