Tecno Camon 50 Ultra’s Google Play Console listing reveals front design and other key specs

The Tecno Camon 50 Pro 5G was last spotted on the Geekbench database, and now it has also appeared on the Google Play Console listing, further hinting at an imminent launch.

Here is more to it.

Tecno Camon 50 Ultra – Google Play Console Listing

Starting from the top, the listing shows the model number as Tecno-CN7c, with the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra 5G moniker written in brackets next to the model number. The CPU is listed with the codename MediaTek MT6878, paired with a Mali-G615 GPU (1047MHz). Based on the way the cores are shown in the listing—four cores running at 2.5GHz and the remaining four at 2.0GHz—this points to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC.

However, the Geekbench listing had revealed four cores running at 2.6GHz and the remaining four at 2.0GHz, which corresponds to the Dimensity 7400 SoC. Since Google Play Console listings do not always reveal the actual chipset, Geekbench is likely more reliable in this case. As a result, the device can be expected to feature the Dimensity 7400 SoC.

Moving further, the listing reveals that the device will likely come with Android 16 out of the box, with XOS 16 on top. An 8GB RAM variant can also be expected. As for the display, it is listed with a resolution of 1208 × 2644 pixels and a pixel density of 480 DPI.

Looking at the front design revealed via the listing, the device appears to feature a curved display. The volume rocker and power button can be seen on the right side, while the left side houses another button, which may work as a dedicated AI button. Adding more to this, the screen also reveals a punch-hole cut-out in the middle, and a black strip can be seen around it, which is the Dynamic Island-like feature that Tecno calls Dynamic Port.

Earlier, the same model number “CN7c” was also spotted on the EEC certification, which revealed two monikers as Tecno Camon 50 Pro and the one that has now been spotted on the Google Play Console. This suggests that both models could be rebranded versions of each other.

In related news, the Tecno Camon 50 series, comprising the Camon 50 and Camon 50 Pro (both 4G variants), has already been listed for pre-order in Uganda. However, there is currently no information available on when the 5G variant will be launched.
