Samsung’s 25W Qi2 charger first look leaked online; Key details revealed

The South Korean tech giant Samsung is rumoured to introduce its flagship Galaxy S26 series towards the end of February. The series is expected to include Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. Lately, a lot of details regarding these models have been shared online.

Last year, Samsung introduced a new 60W power adapter, and it was assumed that this adapter was for the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra model, as the device is suggested to support 60W wired fast charging. It is also said that the Galaxy S26 Ultra device may also arrive with 25W wireless charging support. Amid this ongoing rumour, folks at Sammobile have exclusively revealed the first look at Samsung’s 25W wireless charger.

The upcoming wireless charger is called the Magnetic Wireless Charger. This is Samsung’s Qi2 25W charger that comes with the model number EP-P2900BBEGWW. The back side of the box mentions that the magnetic alignment experience is available for the Galaxy S25 or later models. And when paired with an official Samsung 45W Power Adapter or a higher power adapter of 45W (PPS-20V), this charger provides fast wireless charging up to 25W.

Though it is said that the charger’s full 25W output is likely supported only by the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone. Meanwhile, Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ devices may support up to 20W of fast wireless charging with this charger.

The charger features a USB Type-C port on one end and a circular magnetic wireless charging puck on the other end. It appears to arrive with a nylon braided cable.

Other Galaxy models with Qi2 Ready certification, like the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy Z Fold 7, will also be compatible with this charger. Though according to the charger’s box, these devices may be limited to a maximum of 15W wireless charging.
