Samsung Galaxy XR / Project Moohan Headset Pre-Registrations Reported to Start on 15th October 2025; Said to be Unveiled on 21st October 2025

We have already come across multiple updates concerning the Project Moohan headset that has been developed with the collaborative efforts of Samsung, Google, and Qualcomm. The device which is believed to be called the ‘Samsung Galaxy XR’ has also made its appearance on the FCC and Geekbench databases as well. Now, its pre-registration and launch dates have reportedly been revealed, suggesting that the official unveiling of this much-awaited device will take place this month itself.

Samsung Galaxy XR – Pre-Registrations From 15th October 2025; Launch on 21st October 2025

Just like the case with most flagship Samsung devices, the brand will be putting up its Galaxy XR headset too for pre-registrations and reports from the South Korean media are pointing out that its pre-registrations for customers will be starting on the 15th of October 2025 in certain selected global markets. A week later, on the 21st of October 2025, Samsung’s Galaxy XR headset will be officially unveiled as per the reports. To note, this aligns with the previous updates that had suggested the brand to unveil it in the third week of October 2025 – this year.

Speaking more, as mentioned above, the upcoming device has already been showcased several times previously, and its design is now known. Also, it was showcased at the recently-conducted Snapdragon Summit event too. The device will be using the chip from Qualcomm and Google will be providing the Android XR platform that will be running on it. While the pricing details have been revealed yet, it is reportedly suggested to carry a price tag of over USD 2,000.
