Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra – HP2+ Camera Sensor and Large Aperture Tipped; First One UI 8.5 Build Spotted
These new updates have arrived via @UniverseIce and as per what has been revealed through his X posts, the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone is tipped to feature an HP2+ camera sensor and support a large aperture this time. Furthermore, the tipster notes that the light input will thus be greatly increased, and improvements will be brought with respect to the dim light quality too. Also, all the existing camera problems will be fixed as well. Users of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will thus be able to experience a noticeable camera upgrade, ever since the 2020-released Galaxy S20 Ultra.
As mentioned, the first One UI 8.5 build for the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone (model number – ‘SM-S948U’) has also now been spotted on Samsung’s test server. It has the firmware build version of ‘S948USQU0AYG8 / S948UOYN0AYG8 / S948USQU0AYG8’.
Looking into a few of the other updates, the same tipster just recently tipped that the Galaxy S26 series will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy (over-clocked at 4.74GHz), and this flagship series is believed to include three smartphone models at the time of its launch: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. These three mentioned Galaxy S26 series smartphone models are said to offer display screens with respective screen sizes of 6.27″, 6.66″, and 6.89″. About the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it will likely be retaining the same 5000 mAh battery backup, however it may possibly be supporting a faster charging feature. Additionally, an under-display selfie camera is also among the expected specifications of the device.
Stay tuned for more updates.
