Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Tipped to Feature 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X RAM

Samsung S26 Ultra’s camera specifications were recently tipped by Ice Universe, who claims that it will feature an HP2 sensor with an f/1.4 aperture, promising better image quality even in low-light conditions. Now, Ice is back with another leak, this time focusing on the phone’s RAM.

According to him, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will come with LPDDR5X RAM running at a 10.7Gbps data rate, offering higher memory performance than its predecessor while maintaining power efficiency.

For context, Samsung launched its 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X memory last year, claiming it delivers over 25% higher performance and more than 30% greater capacity compared to the previous generation. It also increases the single-package capacity of mobile DRAM to as much as 32GB, making it an ideal solution for the on-device AI era, where high performance, large capacity, and low power consumption are key.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra uses LPDDR5X RAM operating at 8.5Gbps, so if this leak holds true, it’s a solid upgrade. With the Galaxy S26 series expected to launch next year, rumours suggest Samsung could unveil Pro, Edge, and Ultra models, dropping the vanilla and the Plus variant.

Previous reports hint that the S26 Ultra might be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2/Exynos 2500 SoC, paired with a 6.9″ display, a thinner and lighter 7.x mm body, and a refreshed design. It’s also rumoured to pack a 5,000mAh battery, and for the first time in the Ultra series, support 60W wired fast charging.

As always, these details remain unconfirmed, but with Ice Universe’s solid track record on Samsung leaks, there’s good reason to keep an eye on these developments.
