Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (SM-S948B/DS) Appears on the IMDA Certification Database: Its Launch in Singapore Confirmed

After its recent 3C certification, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone has made its appearance on the IMDA certification database. Via the certification listing, its launch in Singapore has also been confirmed.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra (SM-S948B/DS) – IMDA Certification

On the IMDA certification database, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone carrying the model number of ‘SM-S948B/DS’ has been certified, and it is listed as a 5G phone with NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth, and UWB connectivity support. As per the model number, this is the Indian/International 5G variant of the device with dual SIM, and its arrival in the Singaporean market has now been confirmed.

Looking into previous updates, the recent 3C certification had confirmed 60W wired fast charge and satellite connectivity for the upcoming device. A 5000mAh battery capacity has also been revealed for the device via 3C. Two of its batteries were also certified by the BIS authority. Also, for all the regions, Samsung will be offering the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 variant of the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone, and the FCC certification listing had previously reiterated it for the US market.

Specs like WiFi 7 (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz), Bluetooth (1x, EDR, LE), NFC, wireless power transfer (WPT), UWB, 200MP (main) + 50MP (telephoto, 5x zoom) + 10MP (telephoto, 3x zoom) + 50MP (ultra-wide) quad rear camera setup, and 12MP selfie camera were also revealed for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. In related news, Samsung a few days back had introduced a 60W wired fast charger and it is probably for its Galaxy S26 Ultra flagship.
