Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Flagship Smartphone Rear Camera Specs Tipped Again: Improved Light Intake for Primary and Ultra-Wide Cameras; Increased Pixel Count With 12MP Telephoto Lens

Samsung’s next Galaxy S26 series flagships as per a recent report are believed to launch in February 2026 and following the earlier update, the camera specs of the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone have again been tipped online. Also, significant camera improvements have been brought to the device in comparison to its predecessor.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra as per the new update received via the tipster @UniverseIce, is again revealed to sport a quad rear camera system featuring a 200MP main camera, new 12MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom capability (S5K3LD sensor), 50MP telephoto camera with 5x zoom capability, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. Previously, the same tipster had also tipped that the device will be equipped with the ISOCELL HP2 camera sensor supporting f/1.4 large aperture. An earlier update had also suggested an under-display selfie camera too for the flagship device.
With respect to its predecessor, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra has significantly improved a lot as per reported. The light intake from the primary shooter has now increased by 47% thanks to the larger aperture, and a 38% increased light intake capability has also been given on the 50MP ultra-wide sensor with its F2.9 aperture. With the new 12MP telephoto lens, the pixel count has increased by 20% as well.
Speaking more, this time’s Galaxy S26 series will be debuting with the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra models and their dummy units were leaked online. All these three flagships are going to feature distinct designs and while earlier updates pointed out that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be thinner (7.x mm) and lighter, the newer update adds that it will be slightly longer (163.4 mm) and wider (77.9 mm). The same 5000 mAh battery, faster 60W wired charging, and LPDDR5X RAM with higher 10.7 Gbps data rate were also revealed for Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra.
