Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra battery and charging details tipped online

After the launch of Galaxy foldable devices this month, the tech enthusiasts have now shifted their focus to the flagship Galaxy S26 series, which is said to be currently under development. Quite a few details have been revealed about this series, and more details are expected to arrive in the coming months.

Today, tipster @UniverseIce has revealed on the X platform that the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone will be backed by a 5000 mAh battery, the same battery capacity that was seen in its predecessor Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone. Further, the tipster has also shared that it is 100% confirmed that the Ultra model will exceed the charging power of 45W.

It is revealed that to make up for the battery capacity, the Ultra model comes with enhanced fast charging that lets you top up the battery in less time.

Since there is still a lot of time left in the official launch of this flagship series, let’s see whether the tech giant keeps the above-tipped battery and charging specs, or if there will be any changes made.

Other recent Galaxy S26 series updates

A recent report revealed that the Galaxy S26 series will only include three models- Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. However, another report suggested that the standard variant will be removed.

Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra flagship smartphone models are said to feature 6.27″, 6.66″, and 6.89″ display screens. The upcoming Galaxy S26 smartphone was tipped to use the brand’s own in-house Exynos 2600 chipset, whereas the Galaxy S26 Ultra was tipped to feature an under-display selfie camera and sport a 320MP camera sensor.
