Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Wireless Charging Specs Reportedly Upgraded To 20W/25W; Screen Sizes and Dimensions of All the Models Also Tipped

Following all the previous updates that we have come across so far, recent updates had pointed out that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will only come with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and its battery was certified by the BIS authority of India. Now, a new update concerning the Galaxy S26 series has revealed that all the upcoming flagships will be featuring upgraded wireless charging specs. Additionally, the screen sizes and the dimensions of all the upcoming models have also been tipped.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series – To Offer Upgraded Wireless Charging Specs

This update received via the tipster @Jukanlosreve (originally published by ET News) points out that after 6 years, Samsung is finally upgrading its wireless charging spec from the previous 15W that have been in offer from the Galaxy S20 series to the Galaxy S25 series that came out early this year, and customers can expect up to 25W wireless charging on the upcoming Galaxy S26 series. As per the report, the standard Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26 Plus models are said to come with 20W wireless charging, whereas the Galaxy S26 Ultra is revealed to support 25W wireless charging.

When compared with Chinese competitor products, up to 50W wireless charging features are already being offered. With the iPhone 16 series, Apple also brought 25W wireless charging, and this year’s iPhone Air came with 20W wireless charging support. It is thus high time for Samsung to adopt faster wireless charging specs and with the 25W wireless charging, the charging time will also be reduced by 40% when compared to the time taken with 15W wireless charging.

In related news, WiseGuyReports – a market research firm forecasts that the wireless charging market revenue-wise will be growing to USD 23.8 billion in 2025 from 20.3 billion of 2024, and it is assumed to reach USD 75 billion in 2035. With Samsung upgrading its wireless charging specs, the brand’s partners like Amotech, Wits, and Hansol Technics that offer charging modules will also be able to find new opportunities.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series – Tipped Screen Size and Dimensions

Coming to the tipped screen sizes and dimensions of the Galaxy S26 series, the tipster @UniverseIce mentions that the standard Galaxy S26 is going to feature a 6.3″ display screen, and have a form factor of 149.4 x 71.5 x 6.9 mm. The top-end Galaxy S26 Ultra on the other hand is said to be equipped with a 6.9″ display screen, and measures 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.8 mm in terms of size. Finally about the Galaxy S26 Plus, it is suggested to offer a 6.7″ display screen and will measure 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3 mm.

When compared to their predecessors, both the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26 Ultra models have slightly larger length and width, while their thickness has been reduced slightly. Additionally, the Galaxy S26 this time is also revealed to offer a slightly larger screen size too. However, the screen size and the dimension of the Galaxy S26 Plus remain unchanged.
