Here’s more about the latest update.
Galaxy S26 Series – To Come With Overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Chip?
This new update comes from the tipster – @UniverseIce and as per his X post, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is tipped to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 overclocked version made by TSMC (~ will also be called as the ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy’ and ‘Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Leading Version’). He also adds that the frequency of this chip will likely be 4.74GHz as well. [To note, an earlier report however did suggest that the Exynos 2600 chip could be used in the standard Galaxy S26 smartphone model.]

Speaking more, as per what was reported recently, the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Edge, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the three Galaxy S26 series models that will be initially debuted at the beginning of next year in 2026 and just recently, the Galaxy S26 Ultra was revealed to pack the same 5000 mAh battery but support a faster charging feature (more than the existing 45W wired charging capability). Also, the three mentioned Galaxy S26 series flagships are expected to feature 6.27″, 6.66″, and 6.89″ display screens respectively. Furthermore, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may likely sport an under-display selfie camera this time, while an earlier report also pointed out that the device could be offering a 320MP primary shooter.
As we are still months away from the possible launch time frame, it is best to wait before confirming these expected specs and features. With more future updates, we will likely get a better clarity. Stay tuned and don’t miss out on them.
