Samsung Galaxy S26 series tipped to arrive with anti-reflective coating display

Last year, when Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S24 series, the Ultra model in the series arrived with an anti-reflective display and received a lot of praise from Galaxy users. This year, the Galaxy S25 Ultra model featured an anti-reflective display.

Though this anti-reflective display received appreciation, it was introduced for only Galaxy S Ultra models, while the base and Plus models did not receive this feature. Apple, one of Samsung’s biggest competitors, yesterday unveiled its flagship iPhone 17 series. And Apple has brought an anti-reflective coating display on all iPhone 17 series devices- iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, while it is also present on the iPhone Air smartphone.

It appears that after Apple’s move, Samsung will finally introduce this anti-reflective coating display for all the models in the upcoming Galaxy S series. Tipster @theonecid has shared on the X platform that Samsung will bring an anti-reflective coating display to the Galaxy S26 series.

An anti-reflective display reduces glare and reflections from nearby light sources, making it easier to see the content on the screen. The anti-reflective coating also helps in reducing the display’s power consumption, which improves the battery life.
