Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro May Reuse Galaxy S22 Camera Setup, Leak Suggests
This might turn out to be a rather disappointing leak for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro, if it proves to be true. According to a new leak from tipster Tarun Vats, Samsung is reportedly planning to launch the Galaxy S26 Pro with the same camera setup as the Galaxy S22, which was released back in 2022.
If accurate, the Galaxy S26 Pro will feature a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and up to 30x super resolution zoom. On the front, the device is expected to sport a 12MP selfie camera.

Samsung is set to re-launch the Galaxy S22 as the so-called Galaxy S26 Pro 🤦♂️
Same old camera setup, just with the new Exynos 2600 chip.

Interestingly, this new leak contradicts earlier claims by Ice Universe, who had suggested that the Galaxy S26 Pro would feature a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera. The conflicting details suggest that these camera specifications are still uncertain — and as with most leaks, it’s wise to take them with a pinch of salt.
For those unaware, previous reports have also hinted that Samsung might position the Galaxy S26 Pro as the base variant in the Galaxy S26 series lineup, meaning there may not be a standard Galaxy S26 model this time around.
As for the global launch, it is expected to break cover in the first quarter of 2026 along with the Galaxy S26 Ultra and S26 Edge.
