Samsung Galaxy S26+ Flagship Smartphone Project Tipped to Get Revived Due to Low Sales of Slim Form Factor Devices, Claims Tipster

We have already come across several updates concerning Samsung’s next and upcoming Galaxy S26 series that is believed to break its cover early next year in 2026 and based on what was reported earlier, the flagship series was expected to debut with three smartphone models: Galaxy S26 Edge, Galaxy S26 Pro, and Galaxy S26 Ultra. A new update has just now arrived, claiming that the South Korean tech maker is again planning on releasing a ‘plus’ model like before, and the project is said to get restarted on an urgent basis.

Here’s more about it.

Samsung Galaxy S26+ Flagship Also Coming Next Year?

This new update has also been shared via the tipster @UniverseIce and as per his X post, the low sales of the brand’s previous Galaxy S25 Edge and considering the fact that Apple’s iPhone Air does not have a potential future, Samsung seems to be rethinking its decision of dropping the ‘plus’ model from its Galaxy S26 series. The tipster notes that the brand is planning to urgently restart its Galaxy S26+ project, while the expected launch time frame (February 2026) of the Galaxy S26 series is just a few more months away.

Speaking more, the tipster has criticized Samsung once again for lacking an independent vision and for luring itself into a trap by imitating Apple’s lead. It remains to be seen what Samsung plans to do with its Galaxy S26+ device and how it will distinguish the flagship from the other Galaxy S26 series models.
