Samsung Galaxy S26 FE Prototype Spotted on Geekbench with Exynos 2500 SoC, Deca-Core Processor, Android 17 OS, and 8GB RAM

The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE smartphone was previously spotted on the GSMA database, revealing its model number as “SM-S741B/DS”, and now, what appears to be its prototype has made its appearance on the Geekbench database. Via this benchmark listing, a few of its key performance-related specifications have been revealed.

Samsung Galaxy S26 FE – Geekbench Listing
The same model number “SM-S741B” without the “DS” (Dual SIM) tag has now appeared on the Geekbench database, and as per the earlier GSMA listing, it is believed to correspond to the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE smartphone. Moving on, the benchmark listing reveals that the tested device is powered by a deca-core processor featuring a primary core clocked at 3.30 GHz, two cores at 2.75 GHz, five cores at 2.36 GHz, and two efficiency cores clocked at 1.80 GHz.
Furthermore, details from the source code point out that the device is equipped with Samsung’s Xclipse 950 GPU, which suggests that it could be powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset. To add, the listing also mentions that the device runs on the Android 17 operating system and is paired with 8GB (6.81GB) of RAM.
However, it is worth noting that this Geekbench listing is based on version 6.2.2, whereas the current Geekbench version is 6.6.0. When compared with a more recent Geekbench listing of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (running Android 16 OS and also featuring the Exynos 2500 chip), a slight increase in the multi-core score of the Galaxy S26 FE can be observed, which could be attributed to the difference in benchmark versions as well as the Android OS version.
Also, while earlier rumours had suggested that the Galaxy S26 FE might arrive equipped with the Exynos 2600 chipset, this recent listing may appear disappointing to some. That said, since this is likely an early prototype unit, it would be better to wait for further updates as specifications of testing units are often subject to change.
Probably in the coming days/weeks, more updates could surface online, revealing additional details about the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone. Stay tuned and don’t miss out on them.
