Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge Smartphone Appears on the Geekbench Database: Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Chip, Android 16 OS, 12GB RAM, and More Revealed

The next Galaxy S26 Edge smartphone of Samsung has now made its appearance on the Geekbench database. Via its Geekbench appearance, a few of its performance-related specs have also been revealed.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge – Geekbench Listing

Samsung’s next Galaxy S26 Edge smartphone which is believed to carry the model number of ‘SM-S947U’ has been listed on the Geekbench database and it has achieved 3393 points and 11515 points respectively in the single-core and multi-core tests. About its revealed performance specs, it will be using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 for Galaxy (over-clocked at 4.74 GHz, motherboard codename – ‘canoe’), and will be integrated with the Adreno 840 GPU. The latest Android 16 operating system will be offered (with the One UI 8 custom skin on top) out of the box, and the device will have a 12GB RAM variant.

Regarding its other updates, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge smartphone as per new updates is said to pack a 4200 mAh battery backup and it will probably be featuring an even thinner form factor of 5.5mm thickness compared to its predecessor. An older update also suggested that the upcoming device could feature a 6.66″ display screen as well.

Speaking more, unlike its previous flagship smartphone series, this time Samsung is planning to unveil the Galaxy S26 Pro, Galaxy S26 Edge, and the Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone models under its Galaxy S26 series initially – early next year in 2026. Just to add, in addition to the ISOCELL HP2 sensor with f/1.4 aperture, Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra was also recently tipped to offer a 10.7Gbps LPDDR5X RAM too.
