Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G spotted on Google Play Console supported devices list; appears to be a rebranded upcoming Galaxy A07 5G
Samsung is likely to launch the Galaxy A07 5G in the Indian market by the end of January, as per a recent leak. And out of nowhere, we have now spotted the Galaxy M17e 5G on the Google Play Console supported devices list.
Here is more to it.
Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G spotted on Google Play Console Supported Devices List
The Google Play Console supported devices list reveals the model number as “SM-M076B”, and under the device code name, it shows “A07x”, which suggests that it could be a rebranded version of the upcoming Galaxy A07 5G. Looking at how Samsung names its smartphones based on model numbers, it was earlier expected to be the Galaxy M07 5G. However, the Google Play Console listing shows the moniker as Galaxy M17e 5G.

Which, honestly, is not very surprising, as several other OEMs have also started changing the naming of their smartphones, and Samsung could be looking to jump on the same wagon.
The “e” suffix is usually used on ultra-budget devices such as the Galaxy A0Xe series and their rebranded equivalents under the Galaxy M0Xe and F0Xe lineups, but not typically on a variant of the Galaxy M1X series. And since the Galaxy A07 5G was recently spotted on the Google Play Console as well, where it was revealed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and running Android 16, we can expect similar specifications on the Galaxy M17e 5G too.
As of now, there is no information available on whether Samsung will also launch a Galaxy F07 5G, or if it may instead arrive as the Galaxy F17e 5G. More details on this should surface in the coming days.
