Samsung Galaxy A57 5G’s First Look Revealed in Purple Colour via Live Images on MIIT Certification

Finally, we now have the first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, as its live images have surfaced on China’s MIIT certification platform.

Here is more to it.

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G – Live Images revealed via MIIT Certification

Samsung Galaxy A57 5G has surfaced on China’s MIIT certification platform under license number 02-D726-260187. It is identified as a “5G digital mobile phone” and carries the model number SM-A5760, which corresponds to the Chinese variant. Certification was issued on 16th January 2026. According to the remarks section, it supports NR SA/NSA, TD-LTE, LTE FDD, WCDMA, and GSM networks, along with 5G eMBB connectivity. The listing also confirms dual-SIM dual-standby, Android OS, and support for 5G inter-network roaming.

The live images on the listing reveal the phone’s design. On the right side, there is a slightly raised key island housing the volume rocker and power button, while the left side appears clean with no visible buttons. The front image is unclear but suggests a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

On the back, the Galaxy A57 features a pill-shaped camera island that slightly protrudes from the rear panel. The camera module shows a two-layer design, with an outer housing and an inner black layer that holds three circular camera rings arranged vertically. The LED flash is positioned laterally to the right of the rear camera island, aligned between the top and middle camera rings. Based on the live images from the listing, the phone appears to be shown in a purple colour option, although the official colour name is not mentioned.

The Galaxy A57 continues with a pill-shaped camera layout similar to the Galaxy A56. However, based on the MIIT images, the newer model shows a noticeable change with a layered effect around the camera island, which gives the camera area a slightly different appearance compared to its predecessor.

The same model number had appeared earlier on TENAA, which revealed a 6.6″ FHD+ display (1080 × 2340), dimensions of 161.5 × 76.8 × 6.9mm, and a weight of 182 grams. TENAA also listed an octa-core processor, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, a 50MP + 12MP + 5MP triple rear camera, a 12MP front camera, and a 5,000mAh battery, along with in-display fingerprint support and standard sensors.

Speaking more, a previous Geekbench listing suggested the phone may use the Exynos 1680 SoC, run on Android 16, and that a 12GB RAM variant could be planned for the global model. The device had also appeared on 3C and TUV certifications, which pointed to 45W fast wired charging for both Chinese and global variants.

As for the launch timeline, tipster Abhishek Yadav had earlier suggested that Samsung may launch the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G around the first or second week of February.
