Samsung Galaxy A57 5G (SM-A576B) Spotted on Geekbench With Exynos 1680, 12GB RAM and Android 16
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A57 5G (Chinese variant) was recently spotted on the 3C certification website with support for 45W fast wired charging. Now, its Global variant has been spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing some key specifications.
Here is more to it.
Samsung Galaxy A57 5G spotted on Geekbench
It has been spotted with the model number SM-A576B, and the motherboard identifier shows the codename “s5e8865”. The listing shows that the prototype managed a single-core score of 1311 and a multi-core score of 4347 on Geekbench running at a maximum frequency of 2870 MHz. The listing also shows a total of 8 CPU cores with four cores clocked at 1.95GHz, three cores at 2.60GHz, and a primary core at 2.91GHz. Further, the source code reveals that it has the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, which points to the unannounced Exynos 1680 SoC. The Geekbench entry further confirms Android 16 and a 12GB RAM variant.

The clock speeds of the Exynos 1680 are nearly identical to those of the Exynos 1580. However, the older Exynos 1580 features a 1+3+4 CPU cluster, while the new Exynos 1680 switches to a 1+4+3 layout.
The Exynos 1580 supported Bluetooth 5.4, while the Exynos 1680 has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG with Bluetooth 6.1. And although both chips share the same core configuration, the Exynos 1680 is paired with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU, whereas the Exynos 1580 uses the Xclipse 540 GPU.

And if we compare the Galaxy A57’s Geekbench score with that of the Galaxy A56 running on Android 16, there is a slight increase in the Geekbench score (running at a frequency of 2888Mhz). Overall, the Exynos 1680 appears to be a small revision of the Exynos 1580, with only minor differences in Bluetooth support and GPU. The CPU layout and performance remain largely the same.
