Samsung Galaxy A57 5G Appears on EMVCO Certification, NFC and Android 16 Details Revealed

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A57 5G is expected to launch soon. As per a tipster, the device could debut in the first or second week of February 2026. Now, the smartphone has been spotted on the EMVCO certification database, revealing new key details.

On the EMVCO listing, the model number appears as SM-A576B/DS, while the commercial name is mentioned as Galaxy A57 5G. The device carries the approval number MTA_LOA_SAEL_06070, which was granted on December 4, 2025.

According to the certification details, the phone supports both NFC Type A and Type B communication protocols and runs on Android 16. It also supports Host Card Emulation (HCE) and secure transactions via the UICC (SIM-based) environment, ensuring compatibility with mobile payment services such as Google Wallet. The listing further reveals that the device uses a Samsung NFC controller (S3NSN6HSX1) with firmware version 07.04.09.

Prior to the EMVCO appearance, the Galaxy A57 5G was spotted on the Geekbench database, which suggested that the device could be powered by the Exynos 1680 SoC paired with the Xclipse 550 GPU, running Android 16, and tested with a 12GB RAM variant.

The smartphone was also been listed on TÜV Rheinland certification, confirming support for 45W fast wired charging (10V × 4.5A). Additionally, a recent report claims that Samsung is planning to use flexible OLED display panels from TCL CSOT for the Galaxy A57 5G.

With multiple certifications and database appearances now in place, the Galaxy A57 5G appears to be nearing launch, possibly within early February 2026.
