Samsung Galaxy A37 5G pops up on Geekbench with Exynos 1480 SoC

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A37 5G has appeared on the Geekbench database, revealing several key details about the device ahead of its launch.

Samsung Galaxy A37 5G spotted on Geekbench

A new Samsung handset, listed under the model number SM-A376B, has surfaced on Geekbench. Based on Samsung’s model-number structure, this device is expected to be the upcoming Galaxy A37 5G.

According to the listing, the prototype achieved a single-core score of 118 and a multi-core score of 3401. The benchmark also shows a dual-cluster CPU configuration featuring four cores clocked at 2.75GHz and four cores at 2.05GHz. The source code identifies the GPU as the Samsung Xclipse 530, while the motherboard codename “s5e8845” points strongly to the Exynos 1480 chipset.

Additionally, the listing confirms that the prototype was running Android 16 and was equipped with 6GB of RAM.

When compared to its predecessor, “Galaxy A36 5G”, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, the Galaxy A37 5G shows slightly higher performance based on these early scores. Now that it has appeared on Geekbench, its official launch is likely not too far away.
