Here’s more about the update.
Samsung Galaxy A27 5G – Geekbench Listing
On the Geekbench database, a Samsung smartphone bearing the model number of ‘SM-A276B’ has been spotted, and while the listing does not explicitly reveal its moniker, its earlier IMEI listing had revealed it to be the upcoming Galaxy A27 5G device. Speaking more, the benchmark listing reveals that the device is powered by an octa-core processor featuring four cores clocked at 2.40GHz and the remaining four cores at 1.80GHz.
As per the Geekbench database, the smartphone device is revealed to run on the Android 16 operating system, and it is listed with a 12GB RAM option. Furthermore, via the source code of the listing, the presence of the Adreno 710 GPU has also been pointed out. Based on these revealed specifications, it is suggested that the device could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
Coming to its performance scores, the device has attained 777 points on the single-core test and 1802 points on the multi-core test. To note, while the chipset in question may be considered relatively older by some, when compared with its predecessor – the Galaxy A26 5G that featured the Exynos 1380 processor – it appears to be an upgrade.
While Samsung is yet to officially announce the Galaxy A27 5G smartphone, its appearance on the Geekbench database further suggests that its launch could be nearing.
