Samsung Galaxy A17 4G with 6.7″ FHD+ sAMOLED 90Hz Display, 5,000 mAh Battery and Helio G99 Listed on Philippines Retailer

Earlier this morning, we spotted the Galaxy A17 4G on the SIRIM certification, along with its Levant support page being live. And now, out of the blue, the Galaxy A17 4G has popped up on the Lazada Philippines page, revealing its specifications and features. Even though this listing reveals almost everything about the Galaxy A17 4G, Samsung is yet to make an official announcement regarding it.

Here is what has been revealed.

The listing reveals that the Samsung Galaxy A17 4G comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and HBM 800 nits brightness. As per the details, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 (6nm) octa-core processor clocked up to 2.2GHz, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB via a microSD card. The listing also shows that the Galaxy A17 4G runs on Android 15 (unlike what the Wi-Fi Alliance certification indicated, which was Android 14) and is expected to receive 6 years of security updates along with 6 major OS upgrades.

According to the listing, the phone features a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 13MP selfie shooter. The listing further reveals a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support, claimed to deliver up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes. The device is also shown to have an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance and includes Samsung Knox Vault for data protection.

Furthermore, the retailer’s listing mentions that the Galaxy A17 4G supports NFC for contactless payments and comes with AI features like Gemini AI and Circle to Search. As per the listing, unlike the Galaxy A07 4G, which was launched with a charger in the box, the Galaxy A17 4G will not include a charger in the box.

Pricing Revealed

It is listed with a single memory option of 4GB + 128GB, priced at ₱9,290 (around ₹17,131.69 / $162.61). Further, the listing reveals two colour options: Black and Gray.
