Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max allegedly appears on Geekbench with Dimensity 9400+ / 9500s, Android 16, and 16GB RAM

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has already confirmed that it will launch the Redmi Turbo 5 Max in its home market of China soon. Now, the Redmi Turbo Pro Max has allegedly been spotted on the Geekbench database, revealing several key details about the upcoming smartphone.
Here is more to it.
Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max spotted on Geekbench
There is currently some confusion surrounding the Geekbench listing, as the model number “2602BRT18C” that appeared on the database was previously linked to the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro when it was spotted on the 3C certification platform with 100W fast wired charging support. Now, however, the same model number is being associated with the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max.
Adding to the confusion, tipster Anvin has suggested that the lineup could instead include a Max and a Pro Max variant. If true, this would indicate that Redmi may be adopting a new branding strategy for the Turbo series.
According to the Geekbench listing, the device managed to score 2,656 points in the single-core test and 8,377 points in the multi-core test. The CPU configuration shows three clusters: one core clocked at 3.73GHz, three cores at 3.30GHz, and four cores at 2.40GHz. The source code further reveals the presence of the Mali-G925 Immortalis MC12 GPU.
This configuration points towards the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. Recently, MediaTek also announced that it will unveil the MediaTek Dimensity 9400s on 15th January 2026, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the Dimensity 9400+. That said, there is also a possibility that the device could debut with the Dimensity 9500s instead.
Additionally, the Geekbench listing confirms that the smartphone will run Android 16 and feature 16GB of RAM.
The confusion around branding comes from Redmi’s previous strategy. The company launched two models in the Redmi Turbo 4 series, the Redmi Turbo 4 and the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro. This time, however, Redmi has officially teased a “Max” variant, and so far, only the Redmi Turbo 5 Max has been confirmed publicly.
Meanwhile, another model number 2511FRT34C was recently spotted on the 3C certification platform with 100W fast wired charging support and is rumoured to belong to the vanilla Redmi Turbo 5. But if we go by tipster Anvin’s latest post, this device might actually launch as the Redmi Turbo 5 Max instead.

For now, the moniker should be taken with a pinch of salt. More clarity is expected once the official microsite goes live on JD.com.
