Redmi Pad 2 Pro Indian Pricing and First Sale Details Tipped Online Ahead of its Scheduled Launch

Early next month, alongside the Redmi Note 15 5G smartphone, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet is also scheduled to have its launch and ahead of it, the Indian pricing and first sale details of this latest tablet device have been tipped online.

This update comes from the tipster @yabhishekhd and as per his X post, he notes that the WiFi-only variant of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet could be priced at INR 25,000 for the 6GB/128GB storage option. The 5G variant of the tablet is said to be made available in 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB higher storage options, and these are pointed out to carry respective price tags of INR 28,000 and INR 30,000. To note, earlier the brand had teased the device as the fastest Redmi Pad in the INR 20,000 ~ INR 30,000 price range. Additionally, the tipster adds that the first sale of this tablet will possibly be taking place on the 12th of January 2026.

About its launch, the Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet will break its cover on the 6th of January 2026 in the Indian market and as mentioned, the same day will be marking the launch of the Redmi Note 15 5G smartphone too. Key specs which include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, 12.1″ display (with QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision support), 12,000mAh battery backup, Dolby Atmos-supported quad-speaker setup, up to 300% louder sound delivery, metal unibody design, 7.5mm thickness, and 610gm weight have been teased for the device in India. As per Geekbench, the device will also come with the Android 15 OS out of the box.
