[Update: Microsite is now live on Amazon India] Redmi Note 15 tipped to launch in India on 6th January 2026; Key details revealed

Redmi has now officially teased the launch of the Redmi 15 5G for the Indian market, and its microsite is now live on Amazon India. On the microsite, it shows the tagline “Faster. Stronger. Simply Better” and highlights a 108 Master Pixel Edition (108MP rear camera lens). Other than this, it doesn’t reveal much, and since this is the first teaser, more details will likely be revealed soon. At the end of the microsite, it mentions “The Perfect Upgrade of 2026”, which aligns with what the tipster has claimed — that it may launch next year.

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has officially introduced its Redmi Note 15 5G series in the Chinese market, and lately, the 4G and 5G variants of this series have also been making their appearance on various global certification websites, suggesting their imminent launch.
Today, tipster @heyitsyogesh has revealed that the Redmi Note 15 will launch in India on 6th January.
The device is said to feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. It could be powered by a Snapdragon chipset and backed by a 5,500 mAh+ battery. It may feature a 108MP main camera and run on HyperOS.
The tipster has said to reveal some more details related to this upcoming smartphone soon.
Looking into the previous updates, the Redmi Note 15 5G variant has made its appearance on the NBTC database, while the 4G variant has been spotted on the TDRA, SDPPI, IMDA, and EEC certification websites. Last week, the specs, pricing, and design render details of the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G global variant also surfaced online.
Since the Redmi Note 15 device is tipped to launch in India at the beginning of January, the brand may announce the launch of this device in the coming weeks.
