Redmi Note 15 Series Smartphones for Indian Market Tipped to be Different From Their Chinese Counterparts
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer – Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 15 series consisting of the Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G in its home market last week and just two days back, the Redmi Note 15R 5G was also unveiled for Chinese customers as a re-branded version of the Redmi 15 5G that debuted in India this month. Now, as the Indian market awaits the launch of the Redmi Note 15 series, a new update has arrived claiming that the Redmi Note 15 series Indian variants will be different from the Chinese variants.
Here’s more about the update.
Redmi Note 15 Series – Indian Variants to Get Tweaked?
As per the new update shared via the tipster @heyitsyogesh on X, the Redmi Note 15 series smartphones that will be hitting the Indian shores will likely be different when compared to their respective Chinese variants. This is not something that is entirely new as the previous Note series models that were unveiled in India also had certain changes – particularly with respect to the camera and battery specs. Probably the same could repeat this time as well, and there may likely be differences in the availability details too (storage options and color choices).

In related news, unlike previous years, this time under the POCO branding, Xiaomi is said to be planning on re-branding its Redmi Note 15 Pro+ device as the next POCO M8 Pro. This also marks POCO’s decision to revamp its entire smartphone portfolio and also to reposition its M-series. Just to add, a 6500 mAh battery, 100W wired fast support, OmniVision OVX8000 main camera, and an 8MP OmniVision OV08F ultra-wide camera are believed to be a few of its expected specs.
Stay tuned for more updates.
