Redmi 15C 5G Smartphone Certified by Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification Authority

Xiaomi’s Redmi has already introduced the 4G variant of the Redmi 15C smartphone and the tech world is awaiting the launch of its 5G variant. The Redmi 15C 5G has now been spotted on the SIRIM certification database, and its SIRIM listing has confirmed its launch in the Malaysian market too.

Redmi 15C 5G (2508CRN2BE) – SIRIM Certification

The 5G variant of the Redmi 15C smartphone with the model number of ‘2508CRN2BE’ has been listed on the SIRIM certification database under the ‘Mobile Phone’ category, and it has received the certification with the type approval code of ‘RGQL/50J/0825/S(25-4313)’. To note, its SIRIM certification will be valid only till the 12th of August 2030, and the moniker of the upcoming device has been mentioned on the certification database.

Speaking of other updates, previously the Redmi 15C 5G was certified by the TDRA and NBTC certification authorities, thereby confirming its launch in UAE and Thailand as well. Additionally, its possible Chinese counterpart was spotted on the 3C certification database, and it had revealed a 33W wired fast charging feature for the upcoming device. MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor, Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 custom skin, 4GB RAM option, 128GB/256GB internal storage, 6.9″ LCD display screen with 120Hz refresh rate support, 50MP primary camera, 8MP front camera, and a 6000 mAh battery backup are the other expected specs of the Redmi 15C 5G smartphone.
