Realme’s upcoming S series smartwatch ‘Realme Watch S5’ spotted on Indonesian SDPPI certification platform

After launching the Realme Watch S2 in 2024, there has been no news regarding its successor. However, it now appears that a new model could soon be arriving, but not as the Watch S3 or S4. Instead, the upcoming smartwatch is expected to debut as the Realme Watch S5, as suggested via Indonesian SDPPI certification.
Here’s more about it.
Realme Watch S5 – SDPPI Certification
As per the SDPPI certification listing, the next Realme S series smartwatch will carry the moniker ‘Realme Watch S5’, and it has been spotted with the model number ‘RMW2502’. The listing also confirms the device as a smartwatch, and it further reveals that the approval was granted on the 23rd of March 2026, with the certificate number ‘119932/DJID/2026’.
Since this is one of the earliest listings of the upcoming device, not much else is known about it at the moment. However, more details are expected to surface soon in the coming days. While the device has not yet been spotted on the Indian BIS certification platform, considering that its predecessor was launched in India, the same can be expected for this upcoming smartwatch as well.

In related updates, Realme is also expected to soon launch the Realme 16 5G smartphone in the Indian market, with its first teaser already having been released via Flipkart. Additionally, rumours also suggest that two more smartphones – the Realme 16T 5G and the Realme P4R – could also be in works. Their possible launch in Indonesia is likely to be confirmed once these devices appear on the SDPPI certification database.
Stay tuned for more updates.
