Realme Neo 8 Receives the 3C Certification, Confirming 80W Wired Fast Charge Support; Tipped to Launch in January 2026, Featuring Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Chip, 8000mAh Battery, and More

The next Realme Neo 8 smartphone has now received the 3C certification from China, confirming its wired fast charging feature. Additionally, its key specs and tentative launch time frame have also been tipped online.

Realme Neo 8 (RMX8899) – 3C Certification

Realme’s Neo 8 smartphone which carries the model number of ‘RMX8899’ has been certified by the 3C authority, and it has received the certification with the certificate number of ‘2025011606837114’. The upcoming device is also categorized as a ‘5G digital mobile phone’, and it has been listed alongside the charging adapters carrying the model numbers of ‘VCB8CACH’ and ‘VCB8OACH’, confirming up to 80W wired fast charge support. Its 3C certification validity will be till the 30th of December 2028, and its launch in the Chinese market has been confirmed.

About the tipped details, this update comes from the Chinese tipster – Digital Chat Station and as per his Weibo post, the Realme Neo 8 smartphone is pointed out to use the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and pack an 8000mAh battery backup. In terms of design, the tipster notes that it will have a metal middle frame, glass body, and will be IP68-rated with water and dust resistance. A 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner has also been revealed for the device, and the tipster adds that its ID design is ‘very geeky’. About the launch, the tipster states that it is tentatively scheduled to take place in January 2026, next month.
