Realme 16T 5G (RMX5268) Clears Indian BIS Certification Ahead of Its Rumoured India Launch

A recent rumour revealed that Realme will soon be launching the Realme 16T 5G and Realme P4R 5G in India. Now, the Realme 16T 5G’s model number has appeared on the Indian BIS certification, further confirming its launch in the country.

Realme 16T 5G – Indian BIS Certification

On the Indian BIS certification, the model number “RMX5268” is listed, and under the brand name, it shows “Realme”. This certification reveals that the device received approval on 11th March 2026.

From this certification, only the model number has been revealed. However, earlier, tipster Abhishek Yadav revealed that this model number belongs to the upcoming Realme 16T 5G. He also mentioned that this smartphone will have three memory options in India: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB. In addition, he said that the smartphone will be available in three colour options — Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green.

Its predecessor, Realme 15T 5G, was launched in September of last year with the Dimensity 6400 Max 5G. Currently, MediaTek hasn’t announced the successor to the Dimensity 6400 SoC, so let’s see whether Realme will equip this smartphone with the same chipset as its predecessor or if it will be something new. A better picture can only be ascertained once this smartphone’s Geekbench listing appears. Just like the specs, there isn’t any information available regarding its launch timeline, but if something comes up, we will surely update you guys.
