Realme 16 5G’s Prototype Spotted on Geekbench With MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, Android 16 and 8GB RAM
The Realme 16 5G series, including the Realme 16 5G and Realme 16 5G Pro, is set to launch on January 29th, 2026, in Vietnam. While an early listing on a Vietnamese retailer had already revealed the key specifications of the smartphone, the Geekbench listing of the Realme 16 5G has now been spotted.
Here is more to it.
Realme 16 5G spotted on Geekbench
As per the listing, the model number RMX5171 has been spotted. Although the moniker is not mentioned on the listing, previous leaks suggest that this model number belongs to the Realme 16 5G.
The listing confirms that the Realme 16 5G prototype managed to score 809 points in the single-core test and 2043 points in the multi-core test. Under system information, it mentions that the device was running on Android 16, while the motherboard code name is listed as k6835v2_64. The memory section shows 8GB RAM.

Under the CPU information, the listing reveals that the processor features two clusters, with 2 cores clocked at 2.50GHz and the remaining 6 cores running at 2.00GHz. The source code further mentions the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. After checking the core architecture and the presence of the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, it points towards the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC.
However, as per the earlier Vietnamese retailer listing, the chipset was mentioned as Dimensity 6400 Turbo. As we have seen in the past, the chipset remains the same, and the “Turbo” branding likely indicates software-level optimisations. Other than this, the chipset is expected to retain the same core architecture, which is now confirmed by the Geekbench listing.
As for the India launch, tipster Abhishek Yadav had earlier revealed the memory options and the two colour options as well. However, the launch timeline for the Indian market has not been revealed yet.
