Realme 16 5G India Retail Box Image Surfaces Online: Specs and April Launch Timeline Leaked
Following its debut in the Vietnamese market, the Realme 16 5G’s model number was spotted on India’s BIS certification database, hinting at an India launch. Adding to the launch details, a retail box image of the Indian unit has now surfaced online, revealing key specifications.

The image was first shared by X user @LoserAnant and confirms that the smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Turbo SoC. The packaging also reveals a 50MP Sony IMX852 rear camera and a 50MP front-facing selfie shooter. Furthermore, it confirms a 120Hz AMOLED display with 4200 nits peak brightness, a massive 7000mAh Titan battery, IP69 Pro water and dust resistance, an “Air Black” colour option, and an 8GB/256GB memory configuration.
For connectivity, the box states it will support these 5G bands: n1 / n3 / n5 / n8 / n28B / n40 / n41 / n77 / n78. The same user who shared the image of the retail box above also revealed that the launch of this phone can be expected in the second week of April, and if that is the case, then Realme will soon start teasing this smartphone. Also, looking at the specs above, they match the ones already launched in Vietnam, so expect a similar unit.
