Possible Honor Power 2 (SER-AN00) With Dimensity 8500 Chip Spotted on Geekbench; POCO X8 Pro Also Tipped to Use This Same Chip

Possible Honor Power 2 – Geekbench Listing
As per what has been revealed, the Honor device which carries the model number of ‘SER-AN00’ has appeared on the Geekbench database, and it is believed to be the possible Honor Power 2 smartphone. On the single-core and multi-core tests, this Honor smartphone has achieved respective scores of 1709 points and 6532 points, and specs such as the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, ARM Mali-G720 MC8 GPU, Android 16 OS, and 12GB RAM option have been pointed out via the benchmark platform.
Speaking more, the core details of MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 chip are also now known thanks to the recent Geekbench listing. It will have an octa-core architecture, featuring a 3.40GHz-clocked core, three 3.20GHz-clocked cores, and four 2.20GHz-clocked cores. The tipster (@ZionsAnvin) who has shared the update has also revealed a few key specs regarding Honor’s Power 2 device, and it is expected to break its cover next month in January 2026, for Chinese customers.
A 6.79″ flat OLED display supporting 2640 x 1200 pixels resolution (1.5K), 50MP primary shooter, 16MP selfie camera, 10,080mAh battery, and 80W wired fast charging are among its revealed/leaked specs. Three color choices can also be expected, and customers are said to be offered with Snow White, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Orange colors.
In related news, another tipster (@yabhishekhd) has again tipped that the POCO-branded X8 Pro smartphone is also expected to use the Dimensity 8500 chip from MediaTek, and its launch is said to take place in January/February 2025, for global and Indian customers. Previously, we spotted this device on the IMDA, BIS, SGS, and EEC certification platforms, and specs like a 6.6″ 1.5K 120Hz flat AMOLED LTPS display, main + ultra-wide dual rear cameras, 8000mAh+ battery (lesser in certain regions, SGS revealed 6500mAh battery), 100W wired fast charging, reverse charging, NFC, and metal frame are being expected. In the Indian market, it may be unveiled with a price tag of INR 30K+.
